Hello again!

Well, I know that I've been out of the picture for the last few days, I was but of course busy going about my first leg of pre-Diwali spring cleaning.
Being a very recent stay at home Mom has given me ample time to potter around the house and review everything that has been stuffed in all the nooks and crannies.
So, I'm down with two rooms, one of them being my kitchen!

I used to keep asking my husband to get some woodwork done in my cupboards where I store the rations. Turns out, I already had enough space! As I cleaned out the space and re-arranged everything between my kitchen and ration cupboard, I was able to allot a specific place to everything. In fact, I'm still getting more shelves added, but now, it is to add more space to keep other useful items like my extra crockery, serving platters, etc.

So, here's a tip. Before deciding upon buying organising baskets or adding shelves to existing spaces; do an initial spruce up of the place. Check if you still need more space for storing those items. Or, like in my case, do you have more stuff to be stored which may need baskets or shelves? Knowing exactly what needs to be stored where is essential before buying or fitting in any tangible organising tools.

Keep a watch for the next update...I'm just getting started.

Happy organising!
